netflix | Stranger Things Global Rift Takeover

AWARDS | GRAND CLIO in the Innovation category + GOLD AWARD CLIO in Out-of-Home category

We worked in partnership with Netflix and the Empire State Building to transform the entire Southern Face of New York’s most iconic skyscraper into a portal to the Upside Down for the launch of Stranger Things Season 4. The immersive projection spectacle lasted for two hours, while thousands of on the ground viewers in NYC witnessed a mysterious rift slowly crack open on the facade of the building, revealing an immersive journey through the Upside Down and into the lair of Season 4’s terrifying new villain, Vecna. Driven by cryptic coordinates posted on social, superfans gathered at NYC’s Flatiron Plaza South for a themed viewing experience featuring photo ops, giveaways, easter eggs, and a perfect view of this surreal display.Our rift blurred the lines between spectacle and interaction, immersive tech and nostalgia, and became the anchor stunt that spurred reality-bending activations all around the globe in markets from London to Prague to Malaysia and beyond.

reddit | Cannes lions festival 2023

Reddit is where the internet goes for all its questions. To bring Reddit For Business back to Cannes Lions, we build Reddit Recommends: the Place to Go When You Want to Know. This Orangered mystery box was a monument to Reddit Revelations, where every touchpoint brought the power or a Reddit recommendation to life and showed advertisers the untapped power in being in the place where recommendations are made. With a steel facade comprising hundreds of real-life Reddit queries, our activation was quite literally the house that users built. Once inside, attendees went on a guided tour through the Reddit platform. They took a peek at the new UI through the lens of a real recommendation, saw how influence is shifting and took a look at the power of recommendations IRL through our quirky conveyor belt and Rube Goldberg machine. In addition to the immersive guest journey, our airy upstairs lounge played host to programming and happy hours as well as providing flexible space for drop in meetings and our daily Reddit Drop provided a surprise and delight moment for passersby when we distributed a new reddit recommended product to the first 50 lucky visitors every day! The activation saw over 1800 attendees with over 98% of attendees giving us an upvote and 76% saying the activation impacted their intent to spend with Reddit within 6 months.

Hbo | House of the dragon San diego comic con 2022

HBO’s House of the Dragon at San Diego Comic Con 2022 allowed guests to walk in the footsteps of a Targaryen as they were guided by a Dragonkeeper through a ceremonial dragon hatching experience. From interacting with the people of King’s Landing to exploring the halls of the magnificent Red Keep, guests had to prove they were worthy of bonding with a dragon as they shepherded an egg through a series of rituals and trials—including the ultimate test of bravery: entering the dragon’s den on Dragonstone. This activation was an extensive 6000 sq ft maze complete with seven intricately fabricated rooms, complete with custom sound design for each space, one-of-a-kind special effects, and over 40 scripted cast members to complete a truly unique in-world experience.

AMERICAN EAGLE | DENIM DOMINATION OMGEANS

American Eagle wanted to build on the success of their Back To School creative campaign by creating an experiential extension that could make a splash in NYC while simultaneously promoting the AE Real Rewards Credit Card. We built an immersive retail installation at New York’s High Line Park that let guests literally walk the line to find their perfect fit. AE OMJeans put the full line of American Eagle denim on display, turning NYC’s High Line into a seemingly infinite and seamlessly shopable retail experience. Guests could walk the line of AE jeans and scan QR codes on each pedestal to shop the displayed style instantly. Guests also had the chance to sign up for our RealRewards Sweepstakes for the chance to walk away with a $1K shopping spree on the spot, pose with our denim clad photo moments and even catch an exclusive performance from AE Ambassador Kenzie Ziegler. The experiential campaign also extended into playful CGI social assets and a full digital billboard takeover in Times Square.

diageo | johnnie walker Whiskey workshop

Premium liquor brand Johnnie Walker sought to win at holiday gifting while creating a culturally potent experience that could help them break out of the stuffy mold of traditional Scotch. To help Johnnie Walker break through into culture, we created the Whisky Workshop, a vibrant holiday workshop with a street art twist. Designed in collaboration with Emmy Award-winning NYC-based artist Mike Perry, our whisky wonderland landed at Columbus Circle for one weekend only, and offered NYC a one-stop-shop for limited edition barware and collectible swag designed by Perry, in a vibrant and festive setting. In addition to the barware and collectibles, we offered attendees a menu of mini cocktail samples, a personalization station, exclusive free gifts and complimentary gift wrapping.

2K | NBA 2K19: 20 Year celebration preview LAUNCH

The NBA 2K19 Launch was a celebration of the last 20 years of NBA 2K highlighting the contribution the brand has made the broader basketball culture. Exclusive VIPs were invited to take part in the first night of the event where they experienced a private preview of the game, immersive environmental textures and surprise performance by Travis Scott. Then open to the public on day two, basketball aficionados lined up around the block for their chance to experience the game, take part in a livestream celebrity match and snag some surprise and delight swag.

Launch party for the brand new Moxy Hotel by Marriot located in Chelsea. Guests (including Sports Illustrated model Nina Agdal) got floral inspired makeup using products by Bella’s new make-up line Thorne by Bella and enjoyed live tattooing by JonBoy, enjoyed a custom one-night only interactive A.S.M.R. experience taking over the entire penthouse floor, and played on the roof for a wild afterparty with Lady Bunny.

This event announced and celebrated the ASICS partnership with international artist and producer Steve Aoki by inviting key bloggers, influencers and press. The goal was to re-introduce ASICS in an energetic way and foster a new and deeper connection between the Gen Z and Millennial target audience. This edgy experience wholly immersed guests in the ‘I MOVE ME’ ethos, employing curated art and an operative trampoline installation to celebrate kinetic energy and movement .

The 2018 Ford Expedition Launch: We developed a national tour experience that aimed to elevate the Expedition brand by focusing on targeted market research, challenge consumers’ preexisting opinions and to engage new audiences through curated events. We showcased the entirely new Ford Expedition and 18 Expeditions through six-weekend experiences including In-Market Activations and VIP Events in Houston, Tampa, Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles and New York.

microsoft | Mixer 1 year anniversary

Microsoft Mixer livestream platform celebrated their one year anniversary with a 26 hour livestream. The event included a domino artwork build that took six artists and 28,000 dominos to create over the span of 16 hours. Over 1000 viewers were tuned in live each minute of the stream with a grand finale topple where viewers were the deciding factor of the knockdown.

IMG | The World's Strongest Man 2017

The 2017 World's Strongest Man was the 40th edition of The World's Strongest Man competition. Thirty two of the worlds most accomplished strength athletes gathered in Botswana in August to participate in the 2016 Commerce Worlds Strongest Man Competition. Filmed over the course of six days and six locations, there were 16 different events – from lifting cars to pulling planes and all in front of a very enthusiastic home crowd.

2K | NBA 2k17 Road to the all-star

NBA 2K17 Road to the All-Star was the second installation of NBA 2K’s E-gaming event of the year. Hosted by Hannibal Buress, the competition was a battle between the top two North American teams, 10 contestants threw down during NBA All Star Weekend in New Orleans for chance to win $250,000. Grit, technology, and competition culminated for a sensational success.

THE NORTH FACE | MOUNTAIN ATHLETICS

The North Face Mountain Athletics was a social fitness program focused on bringing together outdoor enthusiasts as they train for their adventure goals together.  We worked with The North Face to develop the performance standards, identify trainers and implement the program in five cities. Mountain Athletics training events happened bi-weekly and were coordinated and supported centrally by our team.

Tommy bahama | santa monica pier paddle competition

Tommy Bahama wanted to create a pier 'play zone' for their annual Pier Paddle Competition. We developed a unique area to engage attendees in a little fun. This was complete with photo booth, gaming lawn, paddle board simulators, life size Jenga + Connect Four, mini golf, and Mai Tai bar. This event was the completion of our Tommy Bahama mobile tour with our 'Coconut Thunder' truck where we traveled up and down the coastline promoting the competition, Tommy Bahama, and free swag giveaways.
